Wedding Mentions or Scope: which one should a wedding supplier pay for?

Two AI visibility tools at almost the same price, built for different things. What each one measures, what it costs, and an honest account of when Scope is the better buy.

These two cost almost the same and do noticeably different things. Scope is a general AI visibility platform that happens to have a page for wedding photographers. Wedding Mentions only does weddings and only does one thing.

Choose Scope if

You want to watch a number move day by day. A dashboard with history is genuinely useful if you are running an active campaign and want to see the effect quickly, and it is the thing this product does not give you. Scope also covers industries beyond weddings, so if you have another business alongside the wedding work, one subscription covers both.

It is also the better choice if you would rather read your own data than have somebody interpret it for you. That is a legitimate preference and it costs less.

Choose Wedding Mentions if

The questions matter to you. Twenty questions written after reading your whole website, naming the venues you actually work at and the price bracket you actually sell in, behave differently from a generic prompt list. In the measurements the questions with a venue or a price in them are consistently the ones nobody surfaces on, and they are also the ones couples ask when they are ready to book.

Three runs per question is the other difference. Asking once and reporting the result is common across this whole category, and it produces numbers that move for no reason. Across twenty measured photographers there were eighty nine cases where a business appeared in exactly one run out of three. Counted once, half of those look like wins and half like failures.

The honest summary. Scope gives you more numbers more often. This gives you fewer numbers, asked three times, about your own business, with a person writing down what to do next.

What I will not claim

I have not run Scope against my own dataset and compared results, so I cannot tell you which one is more accurate. Nobody who writes one of these comparison pages has done that, whatever they imply. What I can tell you is what each product measures and what it costs, which is what the table above is for.

Before you pay either of us, run the free check or do it by hand for nothing. If you already hold stable positions on your main questions, you do not need a subscription this month.

Questions people ask next

Is Scope wedding specific?

No. Scope is a general AI visibility tool with landing pages for a long list of industries, wedding photographers and wedding planners among them. The underlying product is the same whichever industry page you arrive through. That is not a criticism, it is a design choice, and it is the main thing that separates the two products.

Which one gives more checks for the money?

It depends what you count. Scope Starter is one hundred prompt checks a month for twenty five dollars. Wedding Mentions is twenty questions asked three times on four services, which is two hundred and forty answers, for twenty nine dollars. But Scope runs continuously and gives you a dashboard, and this gives you one deep measurement and a written report. Those are different products at a similar price.

Can I use both?

Plenty of people would be better off with one and a habit than with two and neither. If you want a live dashboard and daily movement, that is Scope. If you want somebody to read two hundred and forty answers and tell you what to change, that is this. Paying for both mostly buys overlapping numbers.
